if this book had a video bonus and the film would show a lesson on how to play all these songs then it would be one of the best textbooks for learning flamenco in the world.Let's face it, guitar learning books that don't have instructional videos in the 21st century are backward and primitive

Um es gleich vorweg zu sagen: Das Heft ist gleich in mehrfacher Hinsicht spitze!

Und ich kann auch sagen warum:
Erstens hält es sehr schöne Übungen bereit - so zusagen als Einnordung.
Ich stufe mich selbst als lang erfahrener Gitarrist (akustisch und elektrisch) mit Notenkenntnissen ein - wobei ich eindeutig Tabulaturen bevorzuge.
Selbst wer nur wenig bis gar keine Erfahrung im Fingerpicking hat wird hier auf einfache Weise herangeführt.
Alleine die beiliegende CD mit allen Übungen und Stücken ist schon hörenswert - auch wenn man beim Spielen selbst scheitert oder mal kein Bock haben sollte.
Aber die CD ist so motivierend, dass man sich gerne an die Arbeit begeben möchte. Und wenn es einen dann erst mal gepackt hat... dann lässt es auch nicht mehr los. Alsbald stellt sich dann ein unverkennbares Gefühl von Andalusien ein.
Mit fleißigem Üben wird es dann nicht schwer fallen, beim nächsten Grillfest oder am Lagerfeuer wirklich Eindruck zu machen.
Ohne Übung geht natürlich nichts von selbst.
Jahrelang habe ich mich drum herum gedrückt oder nur so herum gedaddelt. Nun kam mit diesem Heftchen die Erlösung - endlich komme ich dem Ziel näher, auch mal Flamenco "zu können".

Bei dem Preis kann man ohnehin nichts falsch machen. Für versierte Flamencisten gibt es sicherlich anspruchsvolleres - aber die wissen ja ohnehin was sie können... und wollen. Kaufempfehlung!
