Not worth the money

In contrast to a lot of reviews to this product, this snare stand was not what I expected. The system with the 'counterweight' (which isn't really an actual counterweight) does not work at all, making the stand unstable in almost any position. The thickness of the counterweight also impedes you from putting it in an upright position (which would have probably been the only way to make the stand stable). Another annoyance is that the basket part is not tightly fixed to the rest of the stand, and there no knob to turn that any tighter. I must admit I haven't been able to test if that was really a hindrance during playing, but that's only because I wasn't able to put the stand in a stable position in the first place.

There are only two upsides:
- The basket indeed supports smaller snares (like my Roland PD-125, or even my Prologix Blue Lightning 10" practice pad).
- It's cheap.

The cons of this stand far exceed the pros. Do yourself a favor and spend some extra money on a decent stand. Only consider this product if you're really low on cash, but even then it is not recommended.

No....

It's falling apart, unstable and cannot hold a snare anything smaller than 14 inch. The plastic screw nut, that is supposed to adjust the arms that hold the snare between 10 and 14 inch, is too big and loose, so when I try to adjust my 10 inch practice pad, the arms just fall open, and they release the practice pad.

Not a good stand. adjustments are problematic

The stand can't be made to go more vertical than the picture shows, because the counterweight is too wide and the teeth in the ball joint don't allow it. So the stand needs to be placed very far back in the setup to be useful, and the off-centre nature of it makes it hard to balance it without it falling over. I wouldn't recommend this stand.

broke in 2 days

I bought this product to use with a practice pad and I found a few problems.

The diagonal bar doesn't grip well, it rotates and your pad/snare will drop. I had to cut some rubber band and fix this issue.

The position of the pad clamps is fixed and cannot be changed. I wanted to have one clamp in the middle instead two to both sides.

The height regulator got stuck and while trying to loosen it up, the screw broke in two.

This product is very low quality.
