I used to always buy packs (4 pairs) of Vic Firth drumsticks. But their quality has really gone downhill over the past 5 years—it’s terrible.
Now I buy these sticks. They’re very similar to the old Vic Firth sticks in terms of balance and durability.
When I first bought two pairs of Millenium sticks, they lasted me three months. They died from rim shots, completely splitting down the middle.

Ich habe mir die Millenium Sticks gekauft, weil mir die Vic Firth Sticks zum Üben zu teuer waren. Leider nutzen sich die Millenium Hölzer aber auch dementsprechend früher ab. Ich bin wieder auf die teureren Sticks von namhaften Herstellern umgestiegen, da diese bei mir (erstaunlicherweise) wochenlang halten und vom Spielgefühl besser zu mir passen. Dennoch sind diese Sticks für diesen Preis super und gerade beim herum experimentieren sehr hilfreich!

Bra kvalitet på dessa stockar till ett fördelaktigt pris. Kan inte påstå att dessa håller sämre än andra, dyrare märken. Förvisso hör jag inte till de mer hårtslående trummisarna..... Ett stort plus för Thomanns mängdrabatt också!

Sabía a lo que me exponía comprando esta marca, pero vi el tipo de madera, y decidí comprar un juego para probar...no me duraron ni 10 minutos. Una cosa es la madera y otra el proceso de fabricación, por mucho que sea una buena madera, y de alta densidad, la fabricación influye, y sinceramente dudo que sean baquetas sacadas de una sola pieza de madera. Estas baquetas no valen ni su precio, es tirar el dinero. Poco peso, poca densidad, poca durabilidad...no merecen la pena.
