Mixed bag of tricks
Captain Greenheart 13.02.2024
The pros. Good range of parts to include the extra tom and cymbal. The sounds are OK after a bit of fiddling to programme up a kit one likes. I like the dual zone - you can e.g. have a tom on the skin and china on the rim. Ride being three zone is especially nice at this price range.

The cons. I've dropped 2 stars: 1 the hi-hat is incredibly temperamental, even after the firmware fix. Just playing a simple disco beat or 4-on-the-floor on the hi-hat pedal causes spurious triggers and a mess. I would not rely on this kit live, even in a pub. 2 the midi functionality has a serious omission in that it plays all channels coming in. You cannot set the device to say only receive channel 10. This is a pain when daisy chaining say 'out' of your computer, 'in' to a keyboard then 'through' to the drum box. The result is you get all the other midi channels playing through the device's annoying GM bank. The only way round this is to buy another midi interface with more midi out sockets (or use soft synth or your keyboard's drums). The ability for a midi device to set send/receive channels has been around since the 80s, so come on guys! Overall build quality is medium - cymbals do sink down over time - again would not rely on taking this out to harsh live environment.

Verdict. The box does have a few half decent sounds so it would be nice to be able to record them in a midi set up. Otherwise, it's just something to practice/learn on in the discretion of your own home if you need to keep the volume down.

not as silent as they say

cool drums and nice price, ” triggers work great, sounds are good enough and easily upgradable but bass drum” moves easily and might scratch floor even if you you’d had thick carpet… And actually these might not work in the block apartment. It depends from the walls and the style you play even the rebound sound is quite similar no matter how ”big” you hit… i played months untill i started getting compaints and i had to stop playing after few calls from the housing manager (probably neighbours can’t stand even small noise anymore…) it is ridiculous that some people say in reviews you could play these night time since the rubber pads are quite noisy especially if you play like you’d play in the stage. Anyway i was quite surprised that noise goes to the neighbours. nobody told me before i hit calls from the housing manager. so if you need to keep up that style in the block and don’t want get trouble forget these and buy air drums. If you want make videos just don’t do them (trust me you don’t want those to stalk you).

A lot of stuff for an entry level kit.
Saddened by this kit 07.05.2022
First off, the module kind of stinks. Only 60 of the 100 songs actually play, the last 40 do nothing but make weird noises when you hit the play button.
Did a factory reset, still doesn't work right. The 'Metal' kit does not function properly. Getting a decent snare is difficult. The hi-hat also does not function properly. I adjusted every setting in detail, and it still does not work right. Despite the lousy module and hi-hat, you get a good amount of pads and cymbals and it's built pretty well, so no complaints there. If I was a better drummer I'd be really upset, but being an intermediate drummer, I can at least practice with it until I get better, then I'll upgrade to a better module and hi-hat controller.

Not for heavy hitting metal players.
heavy hitting metal drummer i guess... 04.10.2020
im struggling to find the worth of this electric kit, the high hat does not function like an acoustic hat at all, and am hardly able to play it the way i would want to, the drums themselves are not very loud through the headphones negating its use of being a quieter alternative to the acoustic set up, and dont get me started on the clamps that hold the angle of the snare and toms, im having to use a peice of shoelace to stop the angle of the snare from dropping as im playing, now granted, i play metal and i have a "slightly" heavy hand, but this should not be happening, ive tightened the clamps to within an inch of their life and still it drops, also the maximum hight of this kit without some sort of block or something else to raise it up makes me feel like this was designed with children in mind who are short, and dont hit hard, not very happy tbh with this purchase.

TLDR: hi-hat does not function like acoustic counterpart, clamps dont hold up under slight heavy hitting, and its too short on the legs.

What you pay is what you get.
BPCMediaTeam 26.04.2021
It's an decent starters drum kit for a fair price.
But don't expect to much from it.
The sounds aren't the most beautiful drum sounds you'll ever play on a e-drum set. Some drum sounds even sound pretty awful.

For a perfect kit I had to set up my own drum kit combining the best sounds I found and of course with some EQ tweaking on each drum/cymbal, etc.

After putting all this effort it was pretty much worth his price. Due to soft drum pads it's feels pretty good to drum on it. Drum pads have a pretty decent rebound. The only big issue I found is that sometimes the right crash doesn't recognize some hits which can sound pretty awful or lame during an performance.
I've heard this is not unique and comes very often with this kit. I've had friends with this kit telling me to have the same problem and with a bit of googling I found there were many more.

But after all if your budget is around this price It's a pretty decent starters kit. If you're more mediocre/senior I would recommend to go for an more expensive kit than this one.

Good drum set, but kick pedal surface started to rip under 3 months of light use
FuzzyDrumming 11.05.2020
I really like this drum set: super complete, with 4 toms, 2 crashes, a ride, a kick pad with a great feel! Great module with a plethora of music styles, and very configurable, and an independent hihat!

Now the bad:

- The hihat controller (e.g. pedal) feels quite unstable/does very loud squeaking noises basically since the unboxing. It's bearable with headphones on, but even so, can be heard through and is very annoying.
- The kick pedal's surface skin started ripping apart, only noticed yesterday. And this is without heavy use of the drumset: I try to be gentle on the kick.
- The bell on the ride is extremely hard to hit consistently. Pretty bad, actually.

Good for beginners
IAFB 07.07.2020
First time I bought a e-drum set. The sound is pretty decent, and the option of playing background music from a usb is very useful, even more when you are done practicing your exercises and you just want to play your favorite tracks for fun. At the beginning I had some problems with the module, which I had to send back after one day of using it, but the client service of Thomann was pretty fast and got it back a week and half later, although the experience was not ideal, so far practicing on the drums has been good enough for a not so expensive and complete e-drum set.
