Very happy with the recorder.

The Denner alto recorder has good intonation and a nice mellow tone throughout the low and middle registers. I have not yet tried the highest register. However, it is not much better than my plastic Aulos Haka alto recorder (which is also great), but the Denner has a more mellow tone.

This recorder has a stunningly resonant and rich sound. I like it so much, I'll be ordering another soon. I decided to pick up the recorder because I have played the saxophone for years but it is too loud to be enjoyable as I am always worried I will bother my family when I play. The recorder has very similar fingering and feels natural to me.
