Amazing amp for this price range. When looking for a new amp i've tested different options as: boss katana (#1 if you are looking for quality and features), fender mustang, blackstar id, vox ...
The orange crush was the one that showed the most organic sound and good distortion.

A practice amp with some gnarl

I bought this for use as a compact practice amp.
I play heavy metal (Metallica, Sabbath etc.) through it and found that it has enough volume and gain for practice needs (could probably even do small gigs with it). I can even get quite a punchy and response tone on it, that sounds quite good when playing faster thrash stuff.

The only lacking feature is an FX loop. Which you can get by buying its older brother, the 35RT, instead.

As a bonus; the amp looks very tasteful! Orange really knows how to do aesthetics.
