Good pair of speakers for the price
emirunalan, 28.10.2019
I'm a music producer and I was looking for a pair of speaker to use for mixing and when I get tired of headphones when writing music. I use them in my bedroom studio. My room is approximately 10 m2 so was looking for about 5" speakers. The balance between frequencies is not perfect, a little bit darker for decent speakers but lets be honest, you can buy only one speaker for that price. If you consider their price, the sound is the best you can get. Also I used Yamaha HS5 before and i prefer Eris. The connection options are really good. You have plenty of options. You can connect to your source via XLR, TRS or RCA. Also they are looking really good on top of my desk.
Pros:
Price (Obliously, the best pair of speakers you can get for this price range)
Suitable for small rooms
They are sounding great
Clear enough for mixing
They look really good

Cons
A bit dark sound for pro use

Would I recommend them? Ofcourse I would. For this price range you can not find better pair of speakers in my opinion. But be sure your room is treated otherwise you can not have a flat response regardless of which speaker you use.

I have been using this for like half a year along with AUDIOBOX96 and the only thing that disappoints me is random popping sounds that appear sometimes (which can be caused by something else, not necessary speakers, I just did not find the source yet). Other than that the quality is just amazing. It has a nice well-balanced sound and frankly, I did not expect such 'small' speakers to be that good. Before I have got a pair of these I have been using some old big Radiotechnika S-50B passive speakers. Thanks to Presonus Eris E5 my old speakers now collecting dusts. So, if you want a pair of decent speakers for a decent price, this speakers is just for you.

Electric system is important.
mohsindeniz, 29.04.2020
Frankly speaking, these are my first studio monitor, Before purchasing, I had great feelings about the sound. But I dissapointed when I first plug the monitors. a "Hass" sound always keep going, even not plug any instrument, just because of plugging the monitors to electric.
And even I experienced that when I plug the monitors and my lap-top in the same socket, the drum sound (e.g. kick, snare) have snap, crakle and pops. This was really annoying. So I recommend to plug the monitors completely seperated socket. But for notice, "Hass" sound still is continuing. BTW, I have used to it, it doesn't bother me anymore. If this product had magnetical shied, maybe deep noise will be avoided, I don't know.

Here are the official link which has really good recommedations to prevent deep noise: >
As a conclusion, If you're an addict to really clean sound without any deep noise, you should have really good electric. For me, now I started to investigate power conditioner, maybe it can work.

Don't forget, there are almost an addional cost for music lovers.

Great Price to Performance Ratio
Rick Rizza, 15.06.2020
If you need a practical monitor coming out from you mixer, at home, without wasting space and money, this is it. Buy it.

If you used to listen to high quality speaker with clean mid and round bass, this is not it. My active headphones perform better than this in term of sound quality freq range below 200Hz.

For the treble, it's not terrible but also not top. Too metallic for me, but you can adjust that on the speaker itself.

Pros:
+ The features are complet, mid and high control, gain, low cut, and acoustic space setting which is quite helpful for a small studio where you have a sensitive mic in the same room.
+ One of the reason I bought this is because there's an XLR input.
+ Extremely low noise. You need to put your ear next to the speaker to hear the hiss.

Cons:
+ Not a clear sound. Think of it like a mediocre laptop speaker but with an extra volume.

decent quality for the price
John2402, 10.02.2020
used as near field in home studio
sound is pretty good if you don't push them too hard and allowance needs to be made for bass roll-off.

Great workaday monitors
Fuzzy mush, 06.07.2017
I needed a pair of monitors that I could work with all day without ear fatigue. Many small monitors are 'nasty' in the mids, 'gritty' at the top, and over hyped at the bottom. These Eris E5s are none of those, in fact, the quality of sound from such a small package still makes me smile.

Pros:
Great sound for all day working.
Enough facilities to taylor them to your room.
Plenty loud enough!
They have great focus too, so a smallish sweet spot, but get in the middle and the detail is excellent.

Cons:
The right hand one thumps when you turn it on. Quality control should have caught that.

Good pair of Monitors for what you pay.
Pedro Mayor, 14.06.2018
The quality of the speakers are impeccably justified by the price. You get what you pay for. Of course they don?t sound stunning, but they get the job done perfectly well for a starting producer an amateur home studio or even just for high quality listening. Controls on the back are handy to adapt to the room your in. If you're not looking to spend more than 300 euros for a decent pair of monitors, this is it. It is definitely not too bass heavy, and offers a great flat response IF you set it up correctly. I might be upgrading soon, but only because I feel like I need to step up my studio game altogether.

One of the best in this price range
Jimmyrockali, 05.01.2018
These are my first studio monitors. The build quality and sound these provide far exceedes the price you pay for them. I mainly use them for mixing and always reach great resaults. Interestingly they have a built in 3-band eq, so you can adjust it to your preference when simple listening to music and set it flat for mixing. My only problem with these monitors is they somewhat lack in the bass frequencies, but that is easily remedied by adjusting the EQ or adding a subwoofer for mixing.

pros:
-value for money is amazing
-great sound
-built in band eq
-great build quality
-light
cons:
-For mixing you really need to buy a separet subwoofer

Nice build, Received it in a good condition, perhaps the outer cartoon box was totally damaged but the inside was all fine.
Regarding to the product its Small but yet powerful. Only thing i faced is the bass issue. Other than that, its all really good for my work and also to listen Music. I do recommend to buy this product.
