I have always been a friend of hybrid-string-sets, because thinner treble-strings allow easier bendings and fat bass-strings give you a punchy and powerful sound in the bottom. I have always used an anlog string-set by Ernie Ball (Hybrid Slinky, 2222), but then I found the Pyramid-strings in same gage. They feel a little bit different and sound a little bit different (in my opinion a little bit more peak in the heights), but the most important factor for me: they are cheaper. If you change a lot of strings you will notice saving money! Another positive aspect is the criterion "Made in Germany" - as a german guy I'm not to patriotic, but I like it to support the European community and saving jobs instead of investing in an Amercian company.
All in all: the strings feel good and you have a lot fun when playing guitar!

Tried them, loved them!

Initially I only tried Pyramid strings because, at the price Thomann were asking, I felt that I wouldn’t be losing out by much if I didn’t like them. Now, I buy them every time I shop with Thomann.
The strings are great quality and sound excellent. I’ve never had any issues with tuning stability or breakage and find these strings to last a decent length of time.
I would recommend any musician looking for strings to consider Pyramid. I’ve never been disappointed with these strings and I’ve used them on acoustic, electric and bass.

Good alternative to usual brands

Very good alternative to usual strings brands. Sweet and warm sound even if thin gauge due to the presence of nickel. Also durable and never rusted or broke. Thumbs up!

Ok only for its price.

Never played pyramids before, always being E.Ball user. After two weeks of playing i can say i like EB more. Used them in tuning BF#BEG#C#.
Feeled ok and sounded acceptible, but "faded" too soon.
Were some tuning issues after upper whammy bar pitch, but maybe due to their new condition.
Being pressed in tremolo saddles with the same torque as other strings, they tend to slip off tremolo lock. It required to press them in with force, that i wish to avoid in order not to damage screws or locks.
