I own an electric drumkit and wanted to make it completely silent by reducing the thumping noise of the kickpedal and hi-hat controller. At first I did not want to buy the noise eaters because of their high price. But I quickly found out that there were no other alternatives. Eventually after some hard thinking, I decided to buy the noise eaters.

When they were delivered to my house, they were surprisingly heavy and bigger than I expected. I could tell this was a quality product, but it still did not live up to the high price. After some testing I can confirm that the noise eaters were able to dampen the thump heard downstairs. Roland claims to reduce the noise by 75%, but in my experience it was not this big of a change. I would say it will help reduce the thump up to 50%. The noise eaters do not wobble as much as I imagined. The kickpad remained relatively stable.

Because of the high price of 26 EUR per piece, I do not think I would recommend this solution. The price is not worth it for what it does (or claims to do).

Ich nutze die Noise Eater bereits seit langer Zeit und muss sagen es macht wirklich den Unterschied sie unter meinen Ständern zu platzieren.
Man darf keine Wunder erwarten! Aber sie machen einen sehr guten Job. Von daher kann ich sie guten Herzens empfehlen.
Einziger Nachteil, dass ich den Preis überzogen finde. Deshalb auch nur 4 von 5 Sternen.
Nicht's desto trotz lohnt sich die Investition.

Vivant au dernier étage d'un immeuble haussmannien avec un vieux parquet au sol, j'appréhendais de déranger mes voisins du dessous en installant ma batterie électronique Roland TD-25 KV.

J'ai d'abord essayé avec un simple tapis de batterie classique, et je suis ensuite allé leur demander quid du bruit, ils m'ont effectivement dit qu'ils entendait des bruits sourds et se demandaient si j'effectuais des travaux...

J'ai donc investi dans ces petits patins en caoutchouc, ainsi que des plateformes pour les pédales, qui ont immédiatement montré leur efficacité ! Il ne faut juste pas jouer comme un sauvage sur les pédales, et le bruit est tout de suite beaucoup plus tolérable, et le bon contact avec le voisinage conservé :)

On pourra pester un peu sur le prix qui vient faire encore gonfler la facture d'une batterie déjà onéreuse, mais le résultat est bien là !

Da haben sich die Roland-Leute mal ein praktisches und gutes Zubehör für E-Drumsets einfallen lassen.

Die NE-1 werden einfach unter die Füße der Bassdrum, des Hi-Hat Stands, usw. gelegt und sorgen für eine deutliche akustische Entkopplung der mechanischen Pedalgeräusche vom Fußboden.

Sie bestehen aus einem robusten Kunststoffring mit eingesetzer, elastisch gelagerter Platte zur Aufnahme des entsprechenden Grätefusses. Das Ergebnis kann sich, insbesondere in Kombination mit dem Noise-Eater NE-10, hören lassen. Die Pedalgeräusche werden stark abgedämpft und gelangen nur noch zu einem deutlich kleineren Teil auf den Boden, was insgesamt ein wesentlich leiseres Spiel bedeutet. Die Nachbarn und Mitbewohner werden es Ihnen danken!
