Hmmmm
Colours the microphone tones more than expected but is useful for scratch vocals in the control room. It does remove the room sound in an untreated room and stops some spillage so I have used it for separating the vocal mic from acoustic guitar mics when recording singer/songwriters. It has its uses. The build quality was poorer than I expected. The frame around the edges doesn't meet up (like the mitred joints were cut at the wrong angle and the pieces are too short so they don't fit) and the black cloth covering was 'rubbed up' like an old jumper. It didn't look like a new piece of equipment but this is SE's quality control control and not Thomann's. I probably wouldn't buy one again (or would buy second hand) - but less experienced vocalists do like how it looks and enjoy singing into it as it can give them a little more 'privacy'. If you are recording in a bedroom is will help your vocal sounds if you treat the wall behind you (the old 'hang a duvet up trick') and you will be happy at spending the money.

I wouldn't buy this again.
I use this reflection filter in my home studio.
Pros:
This product does a good job blocking the back of the mic.
Cons:
Too heavy and very difficult to handle.
After two years it started to fall apart and I had to put in some screws to hold it together.

Not as solid as I'd like
After a few years of use, this thing isn't as solid as it used to be.

Suspect build quality, but does the job
Looks a bit like someone has knocked it together in their shed, but an effective piece of kit provided you hang a duvet or similar behind the source as well.
