It does the job....but
As a tool, it does the job well. It does exactly what it says it will do, which is give a more "studio" sounding room. With the help of some acoustic treatment behind where you stand (for now I've just got 2 very dense and thick foam matresses on the wall) it allows me to record a very usable sound in a 5m x 4m room that not at all acoustically treated.
My strife with this product is that it isn't the most well built of things. In fact I am finding it a little appalling. The logo is slightly dented on one corner (which just annoys me but doesn't affect the sound, I like things to look perfect and I'm sure I'm not the only one), the small glued on logo isn't really straight (again just annoying), the tightening bolts don't tighten enough to make it completely stable (one of the bolts actually snapped whilst I was tightening it to try and keep it secure), and the whole clamping structure just seems a little fiddly to me, I'm sure there is a much better way of doing it. The box had not been damaged in anyway during transport so I can tell that these faults are obviously from the factory.
Although I don't like the quality of the clamp or the bolts which seems to made of a metal/plastic alloy, I do recommend getting this if your room has terrible acoustics, as it is the only way to help without splashing out thousands and thousands on acoustic treatment, the cheaper versions made of foam really don't help at all. Having said that, SE Electronics now has a new one called Space which is double the price, but HOPEFULLY is double as effective and much better built... but that's just me being hopeful!

Good but unbalanced
The build quality and effect of this reflector is very good. Except for one thing: The clamp is at the back, meaning that all the weight of the the reflector and microphone is very much forward tending to make the mic stand fall over. It would be better if the reflector were directly over the mic stand and only the mic forward. There are no instructions on how to assemble it, but it is fairly straightforward.

The sE Reflexion Filter saved my recordings! It smooths every reflection in my room and keeps the voice warm but clear. I use it mostly for recording vocals and it works great. I only took half star from my analysys because I think the rack mount mechanism can use a little improvement, but besides that it?s awesome and I don?t know how to work without it nowadays! A must have for sure!

I always use it when recording vocals. It really helps to clean up the sounds, and to get you a more "in the face" kinda of sound. Good quality, but I guess I would've like a better clamp/hanging solution.

One word, Great!
I have for a couple of months now this Reflection Filter and it is awesome! Especially for untreated rooms is does the job!
Most reflections are gone and a more dry sound is what it does!

Good, but requires some testing to get the right position in the room
This is the original reflection filter and according to the manufacturer, the only good one on the market. I am inclined to agree that this one holds a higher standard the for example the t.bone counterpart since that one is made of less intricate materials. Anyhow, this removes a lot of the room ambience which can sabotage a otherwise great vocal recordning. Beware though: even though the recorded result can sound very dry and clean, there may be reflections and standing waves in the room or corner where you stand that are so damped that you don't hear them as a reverb tail, but they may still be left in the start of the notes and make it difficult to mix.

Good sound isolation but to heavy to stay for longer periods on a stand
Very happy with the sound isolation it offers, although because it's quite heavy it keeps on falling from the position, no matter how hard I screw the connector's bolt to my mic stand.
Otherwise this is a very good value for money
