I Regretted Buying This
Devonbiker 14.03.2024
Due to not using my guitar plugged in at the time I did not fully test this. I bought it to replace my previous TRIAX 1 because my preamp had the ability to add another pickup and blend them together. The TRIAX 2 has a better build quality than TRIAX 1 but the sound when plugged into my Takamine CT4-DX is quite muddy sounding. I have to cut all bass and boost all trebble and then notch our 250hz to get a reasonable sound. I then only blend about 40% into my CT4-DX preamp. Its a case of making the best of it as I would lose money if I sold it. Blending it around 40% does add a little fill in the sound from my Takamine but if I had my time again I would avoid. When I compared it to the TRIAX 1 that sounded brighter by comparison. I plug my Takamine PSF48C into an AER acousticube 3.
