Awsome replacement

I purchased this new connecting rod for my Tama Rolling Glide pedals. As many drummers will know, the second-hand/preowned market for gear is rife with battered and abused equipment. I'd purchased a set of double bass pedals to find that the connecting rod on them was extremely squeaky and was an old design with plastic end pieces/hinges (unlike this new design with the metal end pieces/hinges).

The product was obviously a direct replacement, but I was astounded to feel what a difference it made in terms of having a smooth right and left pedal. So if you're having trouble with your old style Iron Cobras or want something that will take PTFE lubricants (unlike plastic) then get this!

Iron Cobra Drive Linkage

My order arrived on time , the linkage on my old Iron Cobra double pedal had worn a lot at the bearings so i decided to get this new linkage, it has made a big difference, there is no play in the bearings which gives the left foot a way smoother action, it's like having a new pedal, well worth the money, excellent accessory , would highly recommend

Voulant changer mon vieux cardans à soufflet "iron cobra" plein de graisse, je commande ce produit.
Mon Iron Cobra double pédale est pré-2000 voire 1995 je crois.

C'est la seule raison d'acheter cette pièce!...sinon, avec la double pédale actuelle je pense que tu feras comme moi 15 ans facile avec celui livré.

Et là bug !!! impossible à mettre en place!!! arrrrrghhh, évolution de la pédale Iron Cobra et de l'accroche du cardan oblige...
Seule solution agrandir la partie femelle du cardan, ou comme moi poncer l'attache des pédales...j'ai pas encore pris le temps de le faire nickel, trop dég'.

Super pièce sinon en qualité, à 80 euros, rien à redire, j'ai envie de l'encadrée...

Alors fais gaffe, si ton Iron a le vieux modèle avec des cardans à soufflets (rempli de graisse, comme sur ta R8 Gordini ), passe ton chemin! si tu veux pas avoir de modifications à faire.

Tama halt!

Ich habe mir die Welle für meine alte Cobra von ´91 geholt (die originale hat zum Schluß echt geschlabbert). Allerdings musste ich an der alten FuMa noch mit dem Winkelschleifer ran, um die flache Stelle nach zu arbeiten. Bei den neuen Modellen geht sie wahrscheinlich saugend drauf.
Das Teil ist sauber gearbeitet, hat nur minimale Torsion und sieht sehr wertig aus.
Für meinen Geschmack ist sie zwei Zentimeter zu lang, das wird bei engen Aufbauten eventuell zu ´nem Problem. Ein Stern weniger für den Preis.
