I've been playing Pearl Illiminator for 20 years and was hesitant to try this pedal. It exceeded my expectations – just as good as the Illiminator, but cheaper. Maybe a little less customization, but nothing critical. It's very durable, beautiful and has a very smooth action, making it easy to catch the rebound with your foot. I think I'm a little in love.
