The name don't lie: rusty fuzz
D.Mason 06.08.2019
Rusty is a bad adjective for a fuzz pedal? Absolutely not! This fella makes your power chords explode the speakers. Really good for a cheap alternative fuzz pedal. Makes an aggressive sound with that cool fuzz sound that you expect from a Big Muff for e.g..
Not so great on optional sounds that you can make with it.
Fuzz, a Tone and a Volume are the only knobs and makes it hard when you try to get another vibe with this pedal. But, if are looking for a solid, trashy, cheap fuzz, this is your last call to get one of these!

Good value for the price

Does it fuzz? Absolutely
Is it adjustable? Not really

I found the fuzz effect on this pedal is not flexible enough. I was hoping for starting from drive to push into fuzz area and couldn't get this range with this.
If you want to jump directly into fuzz, I think this would be a good option for you, especially with it's price it really worths to try.
You can also use it with bass as I found it more satisfying with it.

A good pedal for beginers
Dennis_Laz 05.06.2023
The sound is not as "Fuzzy" as I expected. Don't get me wrong, you can still get great sounds from it and it works good as a heavy distortion pedal. The adjustability is a bit limited and also the screw/washer of the output line is loose and comes out if you pull the cable. This does not affect the sound of the pedal and could propably be easily fixed with the corect tools. Overall, this is a good pedal, although I would also check some of the competing pedals at the 30 euro price range (behringer/harley benton)

Good sounding fuzz, especially for the price
Coen Bijpost 27.05.2020
Nice, vintage sounding fuzz, reminding me of a fuzz face meets a tone bender. Ruggedly built and feeling heavy, not flimsy like most budget pedals. TC did their best for this type of budget. Good sound, silent switching, sockets on top for pedalboard friendliness and built like a tank. What more could be asked for.

Soft fuzz, hard case
Brada992 06.04.2023
Love the metal casing. The pedal feels sturdy and all the knobs too. All the cable inputs are at the top, which i like.

Soundwise its a "softer" fuzz . You have to turn it realy up to get the distorsion working

Great first fuzz!
ferwp5 04.12.2018
I love the sound of the Dunlop Fuzzface, but didn't want to spend 120¤ in a pedal I'd only use at home with my Yamaha THR5, so I bought this.

Building quality is superb, built like a tank, smooth pots, and good input and output jacks. Sound wise, is not as refined as those boutique fuzzes, sounds more velcro-y and rusty (just like they advertise, so nothing to say about that).

Really surprised, I'm considering buying other pedals from the same range for my live performances, as they feel solid.

Good Fuzz for the money
E Myers 08.01.2018
The Rusty Fuzz is a nice fuzz that is reasonably versatile. It goes from hot tonebender levels of gain to gated velcro fuzz sounds. At first I was put off but the tone pot. I was setting it reasonably high, and this gives almost like a cocked wah sound, but if you turn it down a bit it can sound similar to a fuzz face.
Overall it's a great fuzz for the money and i use it in my main rig.

Very good in terms of what you get for your money

A easy to handle pedal with a good fuzz tone, recommendable for any rock guitarist on budget! Can easily compete with a fuzz pedal twice the price.
