A really fuzzy fuzz.
I was looking for a very fuzzy fuzz pedal for some minor guitar parts, and the tc electronic Rusty Fuzz had just the right gritty thin line" bzzz"sound I was looking for. I love it. It can most probably make a lot of other different sounds with less edge and more warmth, but I haven't looked for those sounds so far.
The build quality is sturdy and everything works like a charm.

I'm in love
First of all, I've had very little experience with fuzz pedals, so yeah....
that said I really liked demos of this pedal and could easily imagine it being a big part of my sound. And it really is everything I expected, I found an instant inspiration in this pedal, you can't ask for more. Already owning one pedal from this tc electronic line (the prophet delay) i knew it would be sturdy and well made. If you like the sounds you hear in demos of this pedal, don't hesitate, buy it and it will give you much joy.

The gentle genuine Fuzz tone..
I play the guitar almost 35 years, this pedal has the clear Fuzz tone i was looking to find..Crispy,clear not muffy at all..It is only,FUZZ..
I have the EHX Russian Muff and the extra rare EHX Muff-Fuzz (the mini box) from the 70's they are both very excellent, but the Rusty Fuzz is something else..It has a very nice clarity and will never mess your sound..the only pedal i could compare whith it,is the Gibsons Maestro but i like the Rusty more..The footswitch release is not a big deal for me,its very easy to get used with this..Silent and very easy to handle..
At this price is a gem..Totally recomended..

You can't afford not to get it!
I'm very impressed with this fuzz, great vintage style sounds all across the sweep of the knobs from spitting buzzy sounds to full singing sustain. The switch is a bit odd in that it turns on after you take your foot off the switch but other than that it's great.

Solid build quality, great sound, unconventional on/off switch
Really love this pedal so far, it's my first fuzz pedal and it's the exact sound I want, just a crazy vintage fuzz tone. The build quality is way more than what I was expecting, compared to £30 joyo pedals. They feel really solid and the knobs don't feel cheap at all.
The only "issue", is that the switch is quite soft, (not a very clicky one), and engages when you release the switch, as opposed to engaging as it's pressed. This doesn't bother me, but it's definitely unconventional.

Fantastic Velcro fuzz on a budget
I wanted a Lo-fi Fuzz that can make both musical sounds or very broken sounds that are still useable. With this Fuzz you can play nice single note leads, or cords that sound like breaking. If you are after horrible sputtering sounds try the neck pickup with the tone knob closed. At this price it is worth a try before you spend hundreds of euros on a Zvex or Death By Audio unit that cost three times as much. Construction is solid, and connections are on the top of the unit to save space on your board.

Rusty Fuzz
I'm really pleased with the rusty fuzz pedal...for the money I don't think it can be beaten. It handles a wide range of fuzz sounds from smooth to full on broken and whilst it isn't as distinctive as some of the more expensive vintage and boutique pedals it does what it should admirably. One caveat would be that it seems to be quite sensitive to other equipment in the chain and can sound great alongside some but less so with others so if possible try it in the rig that you intend to use it in.
Marvellous!

Real nice.
Great for blues, heavy rock, stoner, whatever. It is quite versatile. It sounds both great with low gain and high. Great for Black Keys stuff. It wont ever leave my board. The metal box is a tank. The knobs are huge and turn easy even with my toes. Not too overly easy, which is great because you can't mess up the sound accidentally. The rusty brown color looks really nice and the design is cool and subtle.
