powerful little thing!
I'm very happy with this pocket trumpet. Comes with a nice case, valve-oil, mouthpiece, and even a pair of white gloves. It takes a while to get used to the smaller dimensions and a bit of practice to get the tone right, but then it is a surprisingly soulful instrument. very good and voluptuous sound, only the tone ends a little abruptly when I want to fade out. It doesn't quite possess the depths of my full-size trumpet but its volume, tone and response are much better than I had expected. I do a lot of busking in shopping centres so the size of the trumpet is ideal as I don't have to carry any clunky equipment with me, on top of that it's an eye-catcher, which makes it easier to convince people to part with their money! Quality-wise it seems to be a solid, well-built instrument, only when pulling out the slightly ill-fitting tuning slides you can see that it's not an expensive make. Probably owing to the small dimensions water accumulates quite quickly inside the trumpet, especially in colder weather. This water is difficult to get rid of through the water valves and only by frequent shaking, blowing and turning the instrument upside down can you avoid an unpleasant bubbling sound while playing. Overall an amazing little trumpet for very little money! I bought it as part of the deal that includes a trumpet stand and a brass cleaning set. Highly recommended - even better value for your money!!

A well received present
I don't play the trumpet and this was a surprise birthday present for my wife who does. It was received with surprise and delight when she saw it as she hadn't seen one before and seemed to be fairly impressed with how it plays.
She took it with her to her band practice and all of the trumpeters in the band had a parp on it and she said that it went down pretty well with them too. She doesn't play it all the time, but does when she wants something a bit different or is limited for space.

Pocket trumpet
Not used much, but ideal - in my case - for taking on holiday to do some practice and not taking up very much room at all. Playing quality isn't as good as a full size trumpet, but horses for courses!

Great for camping
I got this to have a cheap trumpet to take with me when I travel (but won't be performing). It's perfect for that. Tiny, works fine, decent valves. Intonation is a little below par, but not terrible. Sometimes i actually like the sound better than my nicer horns for certain pieces, it's more compact and intimate somehow, kinda like those felt pianos people are playing now.

Little Gem
This pocket trumpet is a little gem with a good finish and build quality. I bought it as a gift for my son and he is delighted with it.

Nice pocket trumpet
This is a great beginners trumpet. The trumpet feels robust. Since it is a pocket trumpet it might be a little bit more difficult to master. The sound is excellent. Great price and great quality. Recommended!
