These are something else
A real special string. It so light and floppy... even lighter than my normal round wounds, so it take some adjustements. The sound is also not like a normal flatwound. It's somewhat more middy and doesn't have the deep thump of Labellas, but they are well definted and very clear in the mix, so they will stay on my P bass for a little longer.

the sound, man, the sound
These strings are the best sounding flatwound strings I have ever heard! Tension is very very low, so, watch out for that, but the sound, man, for the sound, it's all worth it! They sound the same the first day and 5 years from now, I have these for five years on my P bass, so I bought another set for my P/J, and the sound is a dream.

Thomastik Fantastik
I switched to these strings on my Pedulla Buzz fretless. I was concerned at first that I would lose some of the classic fretless "mwah".......no way. They have low tension without being wobbly. Perfectly smooth flat wounds that ooze quality. Pricey, yes; but worth it for the end result. Thomastik Fantastik!!

Singing flatwounds
Flatwounds with a lot of clarity and amazing sustain.
Tension is really light for flatwounds too.
The surface is smoother than roundwounds, but not as silky smooth as LaBella760FSs.
They are advertised to be sounding like upright bass, but I don't hear that.
LaBella 760S or some kind of nylon tapewound will get you closer.
