I would describe the sound of this EQ as somewhat hard, but not too much and in a pleasant way. The lack of Q control is of course a limitation, but you pick this EQ for the sound, more than for the features. I find such EQs better suited for creation than correction.

Da ich in meinen Mixes analoges Outboardequipment einbinde, habe ich nach einem charaktervollen EQ gesucht und bin bei dem Trident absolut fündig geworden!
ich verwende ihn derzeit für das Snare-Summensignal (Sn-Top&Bottom gemixt) noch vor dem Kompressor.
Vor allem die Höhen habens mir sehr angetan, sie klingen geschmeidig ohne harsch zu werden.
Der Q-Faktor in den beiden Mittenbändern ist super musikalisch gewählt.
Werde mir in zukunft wahscheinlich noch ein/zwei dieser Dinger zulegen!

Questo equalizzatore è molto musicale, soprattuto le bande shelving. Consente di equalizzare sia in modo drastico, sia in modo delicato sempre con ottimi risultati. La qualità costruttiva è ottima. Qualche limitazione dovuta alla mancanza di una banda semiparametrica per le basse frequenze, ma tale mancanza è comunque sopperita dall'estrema musicalità dello shelving sui 60 e 120hz. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.
