U4 system expansion

The XVive U4 Wireless System Receiver Bundle allows an existing XVive U4 wireless system to be expanded by adding an extra receiver and set of in-ears. The T9 in-ears, which have been developed in the USA by leading IEM engineers, are equipped with dual balanced-armature drivers and a matched frequency crossover and thus provide professional-level audio quality at an affordable price. The earphones' ergonomic design, removable cable, and reinforced wireform guides to fit precisely over the wearer's ears all ensure a high level of comfort, and the scope of delivery also includes an accessory package that includes a carrying case, cleaning tool, 6.3mm jack plug adapter, and a selection of different ear tips in a choice of materials and sizes.

Dual balanced-armature drivers

As mentioned above, the T9 in-ear monitors are equipped with a dual balanced-armature driver - comprising a high-performance mid/bass driver and a perfectly matched, custom-ported micro tweeter - on each side. Together with the specially selected frequency crossover, this combination of drivers deliver a well-balanced and richly detailed sound with a rapid transient response. Thanks to the included selection of different ear tips, external noise is also effectively suppressed, so users can be sure of a high-quality monitoring signal at moderate volume and without outside interference - both on stage and in the studio.

Practical and intuitive

The XVive receiver, which can easily be attached to a trouser waistband or instrument strap, features two rotary controls that are placed in an easily accessible position. The first of these is the volume control (labelled accordingly with a large "V"), while the second is used for channel selection, and an LED indicator shows at a glance which channel is active. The top side of the receiver houses the on/off switch and a headphone output in 3.5mm mini-jack format for connecting the in-ear monitors. Like the transmitter, the receiver also features an LED indicator that shows at a glance how much battery charge is left and illuminates red when the level drops below 29% and flashes when a recharge is needed. Charging takes place via the USB socket located on the left-hand side of the housing.

Great sound right from the start

The budget-friendly T9 in-ear monitors from XVive feature high-quality, hand-assembled components and deliver a high level of sound quality as well as excellent sound insulation, which means they represent a great choice for beginners and amateur musicians alike. They are eminently suitable both for live on-stage monitoring, where the XVive U4 monitor wireless system is of course the ideal companion, and users can also connect them to a conventional headphone amplifier in the studio using the included 6.3mm jack plug adapter.

About XVive Audio

Xvive Audio officially entered the market in 2012 with its compact U2 wireless guitar system. Since then, the company has also been involved in the development of wireless microphone technology. Its catalogue also includes effects pedals, such as the Signature Series, which were developed in partnership with guitarist Thomas Blug. The products are designed by an American team, based in Pasadena, California, which is composed of musicians and engineers and draws on decades of professional experience. Its lead designer, Howard Davies, was previously employed at Electro Harmonix and Pigtronix, among others. Xvive Audio's goal is to create products that deliver exceptional sound and build quality, while remaining affordable for any musician.

U4 and T9 in one set

The T9 in-ear monitors and U4 monitor wireless system from XVive together represent a complete wireless system for live monitoring, but the in-ears can also be used with wireless solutions from other manufacturers provided that a standard 3.5mm stereo mini-jack connection is available. As mentioned above, the T9's ergonomic design and selectable ear tips ensure a high level of comfort for the wearer, and the silicone ear tips are additionally provided in both yellow and red to allow a quick and easy distinction between the left and right side. This bundle is aimed at U4 wireless system users who are looking, for example, for an extra receiver and in-ear set for an additional band member.
