Does the job well
I bought this to use as an expression pedal for my Yamaha DG-Stomp (floor-mounted guitar amp modeller). I have had it for some years, and used it at home, and in the occasional practice studio. It has worked reliably.
It is plastic, but feels solidly-made, and does not slide around the floor.
My only complaint is that the angle of the pedal is better suited to being used when seated. It is perfect for sitting at a keyboard, and using as a volume control, for example.
However, I usually play my guitar standing-up. When the pedal is completely "off" (i.e. rocked back towards me), the angle is very steep, and my ankle is not very comfortable. This could be counter-acted by mounting the pedal on something which raises the rear edge.

Very good
I use mine on a Nord keyboard, and it works great. It's a little heavy, but looks pretty solid and reliable.

not for me
The Yamaha FC-7 has a long travel range, which is nice in theory, but the pedal sits at an uncomfortably steep angle in its minimum position (fully up). This makes it awkward to use. I feel the adjustment mechanism could be redesigned to address this issue. Additionally, for this price, I would have expected features like min/max control signal.
Still, it doesn’t seem or look like a bad pedal, the build quality also seems solid, just does not fit me.
