Yamaha HS 3 W

I’ve tested many monitors of this size. I can say with certainty that the Yamaha is the absolute winner. They lack a bit of low-end, but that’s typical for Yamaha. On the other hand, they sound incredibly natural and pleasant, with absolutely no phase shift. All the others with DSP sounded terrible! They were hyped in the low-mids and suffered from terrible phase shifting—you couldn't tell what you were doing; the phase issues just made your brain shut down. Yamaha all the way.
