Great little monitors for a small studio!
I bought the Yamaha HS3 W for my 10-year-old daughter’s small music studio, and I have to say I’m really impressed with them.
The size was one of the main reasons I chose them because we didn’t want big monitors taking over her desk, but I was surprised by how full and clear they sound for something this compact. Voices and instruments are easy to hear, the stereo image is very nice, and there is enough low end to enjoy making and listening to music without needing a subwoofer in a small room.
They also look great in white and make her little setup feel like a proper studio, which she absolutely loves. :) I’m a musician myself, so of course I ended up sitting there and testing them much longer than I originally planned!
For a bedroom or small home studio, I think Yamaha got the balance between size, sound quality and price just right. Most importantly, my daughter is excited to sit down and make music, and that was really the whole point of buying them. Very happy with this purchase.

Small but precise and powerful
For a small studio like mine, they are perfect. Small enough to fit on the desk, but well balanced and with enough weight to remove vibrations. At 40 W / unit, they are LOUD. And they also look very cool ;)
The multiple inputs allow flexibility, and the room EQ corrections are perfect.
