Not a mixer and an interface, a mixer OR an interface.
When connected to a computer as an interface, the "mixer" portion of the interface is bypassed: The faders don't affect the volume, the EQ, panning etc. don't do anything. Basically, you are stuck with the signal as it is received (with the only exception being the gain knob). For me this is hugely disappointing, I was hoping to connect my external gear to my DAW, one per channel, and be able to control the mix with the faders, but that's not how this works. I can either connect a mixdown through another interface and have the faders work (mixer mode), or have an input per channel and the faders are bypassed (interface mode).
Additionally, it would've been great if the built in compressor had a sidechain option.
