Outstanding Mic!

This is an excellent microphone for flute.

It is very easy to fit onto the instrument, and has a nice long cable.

It is leagues ahead of the mic we used to use and does not seem to feedback. Instantly we noticed a jump in quality.

It can be powered by a single AA battery or via phantom power.

I had a slight mishap when I first got it - no sound! There is an on/off switch on the side, which can also act as an eq cut - this is not really needed on phantom power, and I would have preferred 2 seperate switches - one for power and one for eq, but it's not a deal breaker.

The only thing I don't like is that the XLR port was VERY tight, but I am sure this will loosen up over time.

If you want a flute mic, this is the one to buy!

This mic is so perfect for my flute, it picks the sound up very well, easy to fix onto the flute and great to have the freedom of a clip on mic.

Halterungen gesucht

Dieses Mikro für Querflöte Mikro ist prima auf der Bühne, kein Stativ mehr vor der Nase und es klingt gut genug für Live. Der Mikrofonort direkt neben der Mundplatte bringt keine Übertragungsprobleme wegen des Luftstoms mit sich, auch kein "Poppen". Das Mikro scheint auch, richtige Plazierungen aller beteiligten Elemente ( Monitore z.B.) vorausgesetzt, recht rückkopplungssicher zu sein. Die Halterung, ziemlich clever konstruiert, wackelt nur, wenn der Gummiring der über den Flötenkopf gezogen wird nicht stramm sitzt, einen schmalen Streifen drunterkleben bringt Abhilfe.

Nur sehr, sehr schade, das es keine Extra Halterung für die Alt-Querflöte und das Piccolo gibt, um die Flöten schnell wechseln zu können. Solche lässt sich auch nicht so schnell selber konstruieren. Die Lösung des Flötenkollegen (s.o.) mit Klettband braucht leider zu viel Zeit beim Wechsel.

Im Übrigen lässt sich das kleine Audix-Mikro auch in die Konzertgitarre hängen und klingt, mit ein wenig EQ auch für diese Anwendung sehr brauchbar.
