hab das Teil in eine [Neck] 60AX / SAX / 81 [Bridge] Kontellation via extrem überteuertem EMG Solderles 3-PU Set installiert. Wie schon in der Überschrift angemerkt hat der SAX (wie zu erwarten) einen relativ geringen Output, weshalb es ein bisschen Feintuning beim Saitenabstand zu den Humbuckern bedarf. Erst einmal in Betrieb liefter er, dass was EMG verspricht, SingleCoil-Sound ohne deutliche Nebengeräusche. Der SAX ergänzt grade den, recht basslasstigen, 60AX besonders effektiv. Zusammen bilden diese eine sehr solide Soundwand, die es meiner Meinung nach locker mit einem SD Blackout aufnehmen kann. Mit weniger "Knartsch", dafür mehr "Wumms" :)
Ob der SAX eine Bessere Version des SA ist kann ich leider nicht beurteilen, da ich diesen bissher nie bespielt habe .

Ho una stratocaster alla quale ho montato il kit emg dg20, 18 volt mod.
Gli emg SA funzionano bene, nello specifico il kit emg dg20 e' un po' rumoroso( hiss) per via del mid boost.
Ho sostituito il kit con emg SA-X, 9 volt, il suono e' piu' single coil( emg SA e' un po' humbucker, con un taglio sugli alti) e molto meno compresso.
Io ho notato subito la differenza e gli emg li conosco molto bene.
