Good price does the job
Votanik 21.03.2019
This price represents how prices should be at every other chassis.
The only thing i dont like is the front LEDs , they are very annoyingly bright and the yellow color of the one at the right is not in my taste, i would prefer a green.

The frond power switch goes to ''off'' undesirably easily than it goes to ''on''
All these are minor issues that could be improved.

Overall good product with a normal price.

Hum issues when turn on.
Koh HG 11.02.2023
My Bento 2 emits 240Hz hum when turn on. Not very good. That noise gets amplified through my 1073LB + 1073LB-EQ.

I could fix this issue by turning off the power and give it a while before powering it on. Sometimes it goes away completely until the next power on.

Found people on the internet forums also having the same hum noise. :(

OK

The unit is pretty good with some nice, sparkly lights. However, I have used it with an API 512c and it does not fit correctly as I can only screw in one of the screws to hold it in place. The 500 series unit still works perfectly though so it's not such a big issue and a lot cheaper than the API Lunchbox for those of us who just want a couple of 500 series units.

I haven't tried it with any other 500 series units but I presume the Fredenstein units would fit perfectly.

Overall I am happy with the unit but the fact that the API 512c does not fit correctly is a bit annoying but, hopefully, will not cause any cosmetic damage to the API 512c.
