For players who love a great price-performance ratio

The Fusion-T HH EB OCT is the perfect choice for those seeking luxurious features and great looks in the most affordable package possible. Bargain-hunters can look forward here to features that are normally only found on more expensive instruments, such as locking machine heads, a Graph Tech nut for enhanced tuning stability, and stainless-steel frets to prevent fret wear spoiling the smooth playing feel of the elegant ebony fingerboard. What is more, the body’s ergonomic contouring and comparatively light weight make for excellent playing comfort. Players can also choose between full-on humbucker tone or more subtle single-coil sounds, so this guitar is a true all-rounder that is great as an affordable backup instrument. However, it can still hold its own against significantly more expensive competitors, which makes it interesting not only for ambitious beginners but for experienced guitarists as well.

Ok, but there were different problems
DmA 05.09.2020
A good tool for your money. There were problems with the potentiometer (eliminated at my own expense), uneven frets, defects in wood processing. The main problem is the false 3 strings, giving out a kind of vibrato. Support refused to decide this. By offering only a refund on terms where I am losing money anyway . I leave the guitar, because the instrument is now needed and I spent a lot of money on shipping, taxes, currency conversion and repairs from the master (about 50%, hello to buyers from Russia). But if you are choosing between a $ 1000 guitar and this one, of course the choice is obvious, but not bad for its price.

A
FLAWLESS GUITAR & FLAWLESS SERVICE
Axepete 08.11.2020
The Fusion-T HH EB OCT is my 4th Harley Benton Guitar and the most impressive to date. All the guitars, however, have been wonderful purchases and are amongst my favourite instruments in my collection. The service from Thomann was, as always, exceptional, the guitar arriving at my door, in Nottinghamshire UK, in 4 days from Germany. It arrived in a box which had zero marks on it, so very well done to UPS. I was amazed when I unboxed it to find a completely flawless guitar which was, incredibly, bang in tune ( after such a long journey ! ) The action and intonation were perfect and upon close inspection the guitar is of as high a quality as any of the instruments I own ( including some expensive guitars ) I plugged it into my Bugera V22 Infinium amp and the tones from the Roswell pickups are delightful. Crystal clear. The volume and tone control working like a dream. The option of coil splitting makes this guitar remarkably versatile in its sonic capabilities. The Wilkinson trem is another excellent appointment, no problems with tuning stability ( the locking tuners and the graph tech tusq nut are quality and most likely contribute to this ) The ebony board and stainless steel frets on a beautiful maple neck make for a gorgeous playing experience. Anyone thinking of buying one of these guitars, from my experience, I would say do not hesitate, it is by far the very best £269 I have ever spent. Thank you to all at Thomann for the amazing quality of this guitar.

LM
LP in telecaster body
Ljuti Macak 14.09.2022
I played guitar for almost 30 years now, and i had many cheap and expensive gear through that time. I am not guitar hero by any means but i manage. Always been a Les paul/humbucker fun, but ocassionally felt in love with telecasters.

Features
Great specs for guitar within this price range. Every part specified works very well, neck is little bigger in my hands than i expected, but feel very natural. Given the humbackers and tremolo this is tele only by design, but it feels like a tele under the hands. Split coil is great option but i am not fun of the pull pots, i ll rather have switch or push push knob.

Sound
This is not tipical sound for telecaster. It is solid humbucker tone, very dark, but in a good way. That tone will not be for everyone, because it sounds like yout tone pot is on a half way. I really like that tone, it is somewhat comparable with my 1990 Gibson LP studio. Clean sounds are good, especially on neck split coil position. Cleans very vell on the volume pot. With marshall/Tube screamer combination this guitar really shines, od/dist sounds are very good but dark, creamy sounding. This could be a potential problem in band situation, you might want to add additional treble freq with amp/pedals eq.
Split coils sound are lacking in volume, and only sounds good at neck position.

Quality
Last Hb guitar i have ordered, Lp Custom line, i returned because of quality issues. This one, which is actally cheaper, are really good instrument. I checked every detail, and found only one, barely noticable error in paint job. Paint, binding, hardware, neck joint, neck and body work are really good, especially for this price point. With tremolo use, it goes out of tune pretty quick, but with out of the box setup; professional setup, i assume, will solve that problem. Frets will need some minor polishing. Stock strings are actually pretty good.

Conclusion
This guitar is nothing like my expensive Gibsons / Schecters / Kramers in the terms of feel when playing. But it does sound very good (with that specific dark sound), and it is really quality bulit. I will have no problem going on stage with it (with eq in mind). I think this is the best relatively cheap guitar that i ever owned and its already earned its place at the wall with the others.

B
Much better than I expected
Brunkmann 15.02.2021
I was extremely excited to purchase one of Harley Benton's step up guitars. Lots of great things for 300 dollars. The Plus side includes:
-Beautiful finish, the guitar is gorgeous and so well put together.
-Flawless finish, great paint job, not orange peel, scratches, or missed spots.
-Pretty good sound, I believe it needs a setup as it is a bit muddy, plenty of punch , but a bit muddy for my test.
-Locking tuners, So far so good, they are holding their tuning, and I expect them to get better as they settle in the humid Miami air.
-Coil split, I love that, lots of great tones to be had.

Not so good:
-I had to adjust the neck as it had a decent case of neck bow. The positive is that the rod adjuster is very easy to use. It's a small piece of steel that fits in the truss rod at the bottom of the neck. Easy.
-The tone/coil-split knob was loose, I adjusted it, and tightened the knob with the enclosed hex key, but it still feels like it may be the entire apparatus, I hope the fix holds.
The action is too high and needs to be adjusted, of course, the Wilkinson tremolo is different than other setups and some instructions would be nice.
-intonation is way off (see above).
This was my fifth Harley Benton and it was the first time I have had enough problems to write about. I'm going to play it for a few days and see if it grabs me or is it one that might wind up being a lovely B stock in the Thomann warehouse.

Second thoughts,
I take back all I complained about this guitar. After playing it and comparing its tone to my other Harley Benton Humbuckers. I can say this baby is the best of the best. What a guitar for $300 USD. I have really had a chance to get acquainted with it and in a word it is FLAWLESS. Do yourself a favor and buy one, you will not regret it.
