Nearly good but returned eventually.......
Timbo1001 15.01.2024
The guitar looked excellent. The bridge pickup is good, quite hot. The hardware is substandard.

I ordered this just for a bit of variety and it looked so nice.

Pros. Very nice looks, well built and finished, cheap. Nut cut nicely. Vol & tone felt smooth. Bridge pickup had a nice bite and sounded like a Tele.

Cons. All the hardware is budget. Tuners very stiff except the loose ones. Bridge a bit nasty. Vol and tone wobble about as though attached to a PCB not the metal plate. 3 way switch not good quality. The neck pickup a bit weak and very poor on the top string. The reason I returned it was because I couldn't sort the action. The guitar buzzes on the top 2 strings almost regardless of the action.

I was expecting to maybe upgrade the tuners, bridge, and electronics and still end up with a good guitar for sensible money. Having done the usual setup things - truss rod, bridge saddle height, and intonation I just couldn't get the top strings to stop buzzing, or the neck pickup to respond to the top string.

Biggest problem was the return. Apparently my email went missing so although I got the label and repacked the guitar. It took 2 attempts to find I needed to take the pack to a collection point. It was like chatting to resident of a different planet both times. An hour wasted and now I have to drive into town, pay for parking, lug the bloody thing in the snow.
Not a happy punter. I had lined up it's replacement in the thomann basket but after all the hassle I will buy elsewhere next time.

A
Lovely guitar but absolutely awful Quality Control / Full of Problems
AMC730 28.05.2025
First off, this is a nicely built and beautiful guitar, let down by poor quality control and cheap parts.

Upon opening the box, the first thing I noticed was a few burst holes and dents in the pick guard, as well as a hairline crack in the bodywork on the rear where the neck meets the body.

The worst part though, the tone pot was wobbly, crunching when turned and almost falling off with no stops when turning.

One of the screws on the neck pickup didn’t seem fixed in the body - when peeling the celophane protector off, the pickup as well as the screw started to rise off the body with very little resistance.

These are problems that could have easilly been avoided with proper quality control upon production and shipping.

Sending it back for a full refund.
