Nice one!

I had an RG121DX, and this new one has been a significant upgrade for me. Although I am relatively new to playing electric guitars, I've particularly noticed improvements in the fretboard, which has made moving my hands and fingers around it more comfortable. The bridge is impressively cool, though it does seem quite delicate. I also invested in a hard case for it. The quality of the factory-provided strings is really good. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.

Half-assed guitar
joaof 07.12.2024
I recently purchased this Ibanez made in Indonesia. However, the guitar had several quality control issues that weren't checked by Ibanez or Thomann!

The guitar has fret buzzing and a couple of frets are noticeably above the others. For anyone considering this guitar, be prepared to invest extra time, money, and effort into setup and correcting what should I've been in done in factory (or by Thomann).

The pickguard arrived dirty, one of the corners was crooked, and there was a woodchip underneath it. This caused a permanent gap between the pickguard and the guitar body that shouldn’t exist.

Unfortunately, buying a guitar these days feels increasingly like a gamble, regardless of its manufacturing origin or price. However, I wasn't expecting this also from an Ibanez.
