Almost a magic arm
JonSewi 23.09.2020
I have a couple of these and a magic arm. The magic arm is way more convenient, and maybe a bit more sturdy but way more expensive.

If you're not moving this thing around too much, it's amazing. Sturdy and stable. Really great in combination with super clamps.

If you get yourself a couple of adapter screws you can use these for anything you want. I've used this for camera's (GH5 with a decently large lens), heavy microphones, LED panels, E-book holders, you name it.

They are visually not too nice to look at. hard to really hide them, cause the joints are rather bulky. especially hard to make it look nice when you're not using the full lenghts and you got arms sticking out.

I recommend getting at least some Manfrotto 147 adapters.

Can't do without them.

if you want to extend an arm for either a small camera or a not too heavy light, this works like a charm.
