Well, this is a bit awkward
There's a big jump in price between cheap and good mic arms, and sadly this one falls in the former category on the cable routing. I can live with the XLR cable ends (OK, I
can't, I swapped them for Neutriks), the big let down was that the vertical arm traps and squashes the cable where it is routed in the base. A poor design, which also makes it impossible to pull the cable through when the lead isn't quite long enough for the position of the mic head. If it wasn't for the fact I needed to shorten the overall cable length and use starquad due to some nearby electrical interference, I would have sent them back.

Did not hold up well.
Easy to install, the stability was pretty alright for the first couple of months. Even though out of the box it doesn't hold the weight of an aluminum mesh pop filter. Now, 14 months later, it just wobbles all over the place and doesn't hold its shape at all whatsoever. Really noisy when adjusting around.
Wouldn't choose this as a long term solution. Not worth the price.

Hold off and go for the Roda PSA-1
It's not great, but it's cheap. It's a big cumbersome and makes a fair bit of noise when you move it around so expect to be frustrated when recording.

Too springy and broke
This desktop arm works best if stationary as it will break. I have fixed it with weights as it won't hold down a SC450 with shockmount and a popfilter(!). But for its price, good.
