you can't expect anything although you'll be disappointed
er colera 10.11.2022
It sucks, yeah, even for the money. I wonder who is capable of making such a mess with the trypod at the bottom, a monkey surely would have done it better. I still don't know how I put my mic on it and why on earth it does not fall while playing. There are plenty of knobs and bolts, but no one success to seem stable. Do not commit my mistake, pay a little more, but at least you'll save a prayer.

H
Not very recommended
Heka 09.01.2019
I have a couple of these and I have gotten them in sets with microphones and I must say, if they weren't so cheap I would stay away. The tightening is kinda wonky and I have broken one as a result of overtightening beacuse it wouldn't stay in place. For micing amps and, to a degree, drums they do their job okay after you have somehow gotten them were you want them, but for vocals I recommend a quality stand. Quick small changes are not ideal with this stand. Also, for more heavy mics, like Shure SM7B, you can't bring the boom very far of center or it'll just drop.

If you are actually reading reviews of stands, you probably want a better one.

DD
Very modest quality
Dr. Daktari 26.09.2022
Recommend spending a bit more as this stand lasted maybe a year in a rehearsal room and being used maybe once a week or even less. I am now switching to K&M, Gravity and On-Stage

Did its job until I tried dismantling it.
KGeo 17.10.2021
On my effort to dismantle it, one small plastic thing from the tube broke, and the whole mic stand has to be replaced now.

Try to avoid
loki mane 10.11.2020
Bought this Millenium stand in combination of a mic. Out of the box i noticed a construction error. the srew to lock in place the arm to pivot the mic on doesn't fit in the srewhole. Therefore i cannot fix the arm in place. Apart from this the stand is of sturdy construction

DP
Not bad for it's price
DDL PLK 30.11.2019
Is not stable, quality is also not the best, but of course price is also fair. If you're looking for good or professional stand I wouldn't recommend it, but if price is your top priority, then it will do it's job. Sold mine few days after I got it and bought best K&M stand they have, even though I use stand only for guitar recordings.

Uneven legs
Mr.skewdy 02.02.2019
One of the legs goes lower than other two. As a consequence, the stand skews to one side. Probably a manufacturing defect, but still not cool at all.

Shoddy build quality
Quantet 22.10.2019
After a couple of months of use this stand is useless. I used it in a homestudio setting where it's not even in heavy use. Do yourself a favour and buy something of better quality right off the bat.

S
Not very sturdy
Samdh 15.04.2018
The stand is definitely not meant for heavy use. Within 3 weeks of using it in my home studio, some of the brackets and fittings had begun to come loose and so the stand wouldn't stay in place! Thomann were very quick and effective to send out a replacement, which I now have set up in one position and don't ever plan on moving it! I think it is meant for this kind of lighter use. For the price, you get what you pay for. If you're looking for a stronger and sturdier stand, you'll have to pay more. Otherwise, it's okay for the money you spend.
