Sturdy and lightweight

We've got two of these drums and they're great for compact multicores. We use one for a 4-way 25m XLR cable and the other for a 72m 2-core fibre optic reel. The front plate brackets provide a bit of extra storage space. Because of the size things can get cramped e.g. when you're using your foot to hold it in place when retrieving the cable, and likewise the handle is on the small side. But it's a useful option when the next size up is too big.

When it comes to cable drums, the virtually indestructible Schills compare to nothing! A product that will last decades! Absolutely no cons!

Recently got 1 of thise cable drums, for coiling up a XLR extensioncord, rolled up 80 meters, and i recon, that if i have hat the last 20 meters, they would have fit on there aswell, love the breaking system, that makes sure that the cable won't roll out under transport.
