Vorweg: Wäre bei manchen dieser Soundbellows die Verarbeitung und Haltbarkeit nicht so schlecht, wäre die Bewertung sehr viel besser ausgefallen. Denn eigentlich macht das Musizieren mit diesen Dingern im Unterricht wirklich Spaß. Auch die Mitlaufpartituren, die es auf der CD zu dem Soundbellow-Heft gibt, sind wirklich für jeden Schüler machbar. Aber die Verarbeitung ...! Mittlerweile habe ich schon mehrere dieser Soundbellows (v.a. das rote C und das dunkelgrüne G) zurückschicken müssen, da kein Ton mehr heraus kam. Und das lag nicht an meinen Schülern, die den Soundbellow kaputt gemacht haben, sondern leider irgendwie an der Verarbeitung. Bisher habe ich immer Ersatz für die defekten Soundbellows bekommen, aber es ist nervig, wenn der Schüler mitten im Stück nach vorne kommt und den defekten Soundbellow einem vorbeibringt. Die Boomwhakers finde ich für den Klassengebrauch sehr, sehr viel robuster. Auch die Rainbow Chimes sind im Vergleich zu den Soundbellows nahezu unverwüstlich. Dennoch mag ich den Mundharmonika ähnlichen Klang, der zu den perkussiven Boomwhakers und den weihnachtlich klingenden Rainbow Chimes einen anderen Klang haben. Wenn halt nur nicht alle zwei Wochen wieder einer von den Dingern schlapp machen würde ...!
