Bright, powerful, flexible

The Stairville CLB5 is a lighting bar equipped with a series of powerful LEDs designed to deliver both vibrant colour effects and reliable illumination for small to medium-sized performance spaces. It offers a broad spectrum of colours thanks to its combination of red, green, blue, and warm white LEDs, while the set itself includes six equally powerful fixtures supplied in a handy carry bag for convenient transport. At the rear of the RGBWW spots, the professional-grade Power Twist connectors immediately stand out as a pro-grade feature, highlighting the unit's suitability for live applications, while the included remote control keeps operation straightforward and accessible. With setup largely complete once the bar has been positioned or suspended, users can quickly begin filling a room with one of the many built-in lighting effects, making it an efficient solution for all kinds of events and performances.

Six times the colour intensity

The Stairville CLB5's bar is fitted with six pre-mounted LED spotlights, each equipped with seven 4W RGBWW LEDs and a beam angle of 35°, delivering a versatile combination of colour effects and general illumination. Maximum total power consumption is 120W, while each spotlight can be individually adjusted both horizontally and vertically to adapt the lighting spread to different environments. For installation, recessed M10 threads are integrated into the top of the bar for suspension using optional C-hooks, and a 35 mm flange allows mounting on a compatible tripod stand. Connectivity is equally flexible, with a selection of inputs and outputs supporting integration into a DMX chain as well as power distribution via Power Twist connectors. A wide range of lighting options can be accessed through colour macros, 38 built-in auto programmes and music-controlled modes, all of which can be activated using the onboard menu buttons, the supplied infrared remote control, DMX operation across 4 to 26 channels, or optional footswitches.

Light on time

The Stairville CLB5 brings vibrant colour to small and medium-sized stages with minimal setup time, making it a practical solution for a wide range of live applications. During performances, the Sound-to-Light function offers an easy way to generate dynamic effects that move in sync with the music. For permanent installations, club owners can integrate additional LED systems in master-slave mode, creating larger coordinated lighting displays with little effort. Solo performers benefit from straightforward remote-control operation and a generous selection of auto programmes, including options that incorporate warm stage lighting, allowing complete lighting scenes to be created without the need for DMX control. That said, anyone working with DMX can access a much deeper level of fine-tuning, adjusting colours and effects to suit their current setup's specific requirements. Either way, the compact design and carry bag make the system equally well suited to touring and use in multi-purpose venues.

About Stairville

Since it was introduced in 1994, Thomann's in-house brand Stairville has been a permanent fixture in the store's product range. The brand primarily focuses on the field of stage lighting in general, and its products include spotlights, moving lights, and theatre lighting as well as smoke machines, electronic control systems, and every other accessory you can think of. Thomann constantly has around 1,600 Stairville products on offer, and the figures speak for themselves: Statistically, one in every fifteen Thomann customers owns at least one Stairville product. Incidentally, the name "Stairville" is also a catchy English translation of "Treppendorf", the town that Thomann calls home.

For toe-tapping light shows

For even more flexibility, there's a range of accessories for a variety of settings and situations. The Stairville Stage TRI LED Bundle Remote is a wired footswitch that allows musicians or performers to activate auto programmes and music-controlled modes, while also providing the option to pause or switch off the effects when required. For setups where the control hub is further away from the lights themselves, there's the Stairville CLBW Wireless Foot Switch: It will turn the CLB5 into a very effective system for solo performers in particular, as it enables commands to be transmitted wirelessly to the spotlights and thus reduces the need for someone to run the lighting manually – or for long, complex cable setups. Of course, wherever cables are indispensible, there is a range of three-pin DMX cables such as the Stairville PDC3CC DMX Cable, providing a suitable connection solution and available in a range of lengths to accommodate different setups, for example linking multiple LED bars in master-slave mode or integrating them into an existing lighting control system. When paired with the cost-effective Stairville DDC-12 DMX Controller, the LEDs on the Stairville CLB5 can be operated across four, six or eight channels.

Small, light and veyr bright!
Badders 03.03.2020
After over 10 years, I decided the time had come to consider replacing my Stairville TriLED bars. These were the obvious choice. 6 lights per bar instead of 4, brighter and more compact. They are working really well for live gigs and I'm benefitting from more space in the car.

I think some of the internal programmes could be better and more varied - hence the 4 stars for features. But other than that I'm delighted with them.

Absolute beasts!
Newcroft 21.10.2024
I bought two of these to go either side of our drummer and they replaced four older lights. Programming was really straight forward, although the range of pre-programmed shows is a little limited; same lights going left, followed by same lights going right etc. However, I have also programmed a few static displays and in concert with the other lights they provide a fantastic backdrop for the band. We use them pointing down at around 45 degrees, they are too bright to point towards the audience. Use a bit of smoke and they look amazing. Brilliant features and they are build withstand anything (all metal). I took off one star for features because weirdly there is no spigot in the middle to steady them on a pole so they can wobble a little. The smaller ones in the range do have the spigot, strange that these bigger ones don't. Overall - superb!

Great light, but feel like they are added to the par bar backwards
MarcusBlack 12.12.2025
I have started using these after buying recently. They are fantastic, however, the DMX setup appears to force you to have the powercon and dmx cables on the front of the device, which it should not in my opinion. As I am using these as a fairly intricate setup, I need to use the DMX
