Have been using this mic for few months now and i am really happy it.
Best bang for the buck mic. I love it on vocals and acoustic guitars, especially with the SP VTB1 preamp i got a while ago.
The build quality is very good, and the box is nice too.
The bundle is great, with everything you need to get started.
If your looking for good quality low budget LDC mic I definitely recommend this.

Das C1 von Studio Project gibt mir auch nach jahrelanger Erfahrung eine sehr hohe Zufriedenheit. Das Kondensatormikrofon zeigt bei Aufnahmen eine sehr schöne und warme Qualität dar. Zugleich ist es sehr stabil und preisgüstig. Nichts wie ran!

Mit dem C1 MK II von Studio Projects bin ich mittelmäßig zufrieden.

Die Verarbeitung des Mirkofons ist sauber, robust und damit zufriendenstellend. Auch die mitgelieferte Spinne ist von akzeptabler Qualität, jedoch kann sich das Montieren des Mikrofons in die Spinne als etwas umständlich erweisen. Wirklich tragisch ist das jedoch nicht. Der mitgelieferte rundum Pop- / Windschutz scheint in manchen Situationen nützlich, habe ihn allerdings selbst noch nicht verwendet.

Der größte Nachteil bei diesem Mikrofon ist meines Empfindens nach der harsch wirkende Höhenbereich. Sicherlich auch bis zu einem gewissen Grad Geschmackssache, werden die Höhen sehr stark abgebildet. Somit erhält man bei diesem Mikrofon einen weitaus weniger balancierten Klang, wie man ihn etwa beim NT2-A von Rode hat, welches natürlich ein gutes Stück teuerer ist.

Dennoch ist dieses Mikrofon, preislich betrachtend, ein sehr brauchbares Mikrofon und führt, richtig eingesetzt, zu tollen Ergebnissen!
