Could be great but it's not
First of all, when it works it's great. However LEDs are very bright and if you need to place this in front of you on the desk like I had to they are just horrible to look at even accidentally.
I am using this with iMac 2017 USB 3.0 port and have loads of problems with gear. It seems to randomly disconnect gear every now and then and for example external hard drive becomes invisible. To get it working again I usually need to shutdown computer and USB hub and reboot. Also it sometimes says that SuperDrive which is connected to hub needs to be connected to computer since it needs power. Still it works fine for hours if using after reboot. Currently I have only three devices connected at the same time, so it should work quite fine. The problem might lie with my Mac of course, but I very rarely have same kind of problems with other USB hubs like Elektron Overhub.
So far all of my USB 2.0 devices has worked fine though.

On ne peut faire mieux au niveau de la puissance : il accepte des disque de 4 et 5 téra sans problème sur Mac.
Le seul bémol pour un studio de mastering c’est le bruit du ventilateur !

Does a good job
Not putting 5 stars because of the fan's thermal sensor broke due to too much heat in the room and even if I changed it, the fan is always working and making a big noise so I unplugged it.

Solide et fiable
J'ai longuement hésité avant d'investir dans ce hub.
Belle qualité de fabrication, c'est solide et discret une fois racké.
Aucun problème de ventilation pour le moment et tous mes appareils sont parfaitement reconnus simultanément.
J'enlève une étoile pour le port de connexion PC <> Hub qui se trouve en face avant, ce n'est pas logique.

Great tool. You can never have enough USB inputs. The Swissonic USB Hub 1916 gives you a great solution.

a quiet Lifesaver
Using with an iMac and OS10.15. This usb hub has been working in my studio for month and months. Solid & reliable. All my sample drives are running from this without any issues.
