The t.bone TWS 16 PT 863 MHz
Roland939, 12.02.2013
Operation and features are not a challenge for people with technical understanding. It is a simple part and not an i-transmitter. Nevertheless you have the possibility to choose 16 channels freely. An advantage when several radio links are operated.
Anyone who has brought the chain back to the gearwheel on his child's bike can look forward, because he only needs a small screwdriver to adjust the sensitivity of the transmitter and the channel! This also applies to the receiver. Finished!

Surprisingly, the bass sound sounded full after MusicMan Stingray, although I also played such a bass! Whoever thought ... Uuups, also used good cables ...
Because I compress the bass anyway strongly is me a more condensation not really noticeable and although this is now my third and cheapest radio system, I would have blindfolded real difficulties whether there is now this transmitter, or one of my cables (clog, monster, Vovox). The Beyerdynamic of former times was toned already, but also more than 10 times so "favorable"!
Since you must now cable the receiver, but I'll just hold my best lines-never hurts!
As a preamp directly into the desk I use my good old Korg AX300B, which was also used by the Primusbasser and already on other CDs could be heard (Audioslave would of course never admit!).
The central part of my effect chain is the clean and unobtrusive compressor which does not pump and always delivers an upright signal to the mixer. Our sound master is state tested and works for the BR. He knows my sound and had nothing to suspend at t.bone. The monitoring ran smoothly, the Saalsound was as usual and the Livemitschnitt provided a proper bass sound, without Mulching, cracking or dropouts. Pfft!
In the Proberaum I use tube (80 / 200W) or transistoramps (30 / 250W Class A) depending on the occasion.
All sound changes to the sound I make with stop and the sound control of the Stingray. Everything happens as usual, but with small dynamic deficiencies. For me as an allroundbasser completely negligible. But a Bluesgittarrero would be rather unhappy!
(Although I think David Gilmour would sound like "about" very good!) But that would be too much of the praise!
Two usual AA batteries from the disckkounter for the transmitter are surely enough for ten hours of operation and are not yet fully used up!
Regarding the latency I have to complain about ten meters distance to the receiver nothing, and the delay is attributed to the bad sound time!
The clamp of the transmitter reliably holds on the belt when it is ned too thin. The jack miniXLR cable between instrument and transmitter I find OK and who likes a high-end cable can be soldered? The small antenna on the transmitter is fixed to the transmitter. Should this cancel you probably have a problem!
So better to remove the bass carefully and not hectic from the guitar stand! According to experience the transmitter is on the ground with a part of the belt. So you should not spill and do not drauflatschen!
The antennas on the receiver are also firmly connected to the plastic housing. Here also applies: give care!
For frequent mounting / dismantling, the system must be fixed in a case! An angle and screws are included. Then also the small net particles is safe! The processing is good considering the materials used.
The transmitting part develops during operation a certain temperature, which I have ever seen as unpleasant. At home and in the Proberaum I would not operate the plant synonymous.

Conclusion: Absolutely useful radio track at the Schmunzelpreis.
