Really good brand

Alright, so, Thomastik violin strings, right? I've been messing around with a few sets, and here's the deal. Honestly, they're pretty darn good.
First off, the sound. Like, wow. They've got this really warm, rich thing going on. You know when you play and it just...fills the room? Yeah, they do that. They also feel nice under my fingers. Like, they're responsive, you know? I can actually do those fancy little articulations without feeling like I'm fighting the strings and they don't feel all weird and rough. I think it's worth it. They're consistent, too. You don't get that random string that sounds like a kazoo, which is always a risk with cheaper strings.
One thing, though – they take a bit to settle in. You gotta play them for a while before they sound their best. And, I've heard some people complain about the E-strings whistling, but I haven't had that problem too much, personally.
So, yeah, if you're serious about your playing and you want some really good sound, Thomastik strings are a solid choice. Just be prepared to shell out a bit more cash. But, hey, your violin will thank you."

Warmer Klang
eugn 12.01.2019
Diese Seite ist noch wärmer im Klang als z.B. die Gold-Label von Pirastro. Möglicherweise auf einer dunklen Geige etwas zu dumpf, oder für diejenigen die auf Brillanz stehen.
