... ich tu das definitiv nicht. Altsax Selmer SAII und Reference 54: Das Teil klingt viel zu schrill, man erwartet einen vollmundigen Klang, einen Tullamore Dew, einen Johnny Walker Black, oder wenigstens einen Ballantines (der selige Bernstein soll ja immer eine Flasche am Pult bzw. Klavier stehen gehabt haben...) Was da daherkommt, egal welches Blatt darauf ist, ist ein 5EUR-Wodka, der allenfalls zum Fensterputzen taugt. Aber vielleicht kann das V16A7 einem eher matt klingenden Horn ein wenig Pfeffer in die Mensur streuen, wer weiß. Mein Urteil ist jedenfalls als SUBJEKTIV zu betrachten.
Vergiß nicht: DU bist das Maß dieser Dinge. DU mußt überzeugt sein von dem was Du auf dein Horn steckst (nicht ich, hehe)!

Jedenfalls ist das Teil PERFEKT verarbeitet und vielleicht ist es genau das Richtige für Dich. Ich habs trotzalldem behalten und nicht innerhalb der 30 Tage zurückgeschickt, es könnte ja sein, daß sich plötzlich alles ändert. Panta Rei. Derweil gilt: Meyer G4 - 7 klingt phantastich (besonders am SAII) mit einem Rico Select Jazz 3S oder 3M, allerdings mit dem Nachteil, daß viele Oktaven zu groß sind, d.h.: das obere Register ist tendenziell zu hoch, das untere zu tief (eher am Reference 54). Erste Versuche mit dem Selmer Super Session E sind vielversprechend. Es intoniert besser, der Sound ist nicht endenwollend... ;-)

Trotzdem: V16 A7M ausprobieren, eigene Meinung bilden!

Ich habe das V16 in verschiedenen Öffnungen probiert (Spiele ein V16 T7 auf dem Tenor. Die 5er Öffnung war für mich komplett ausreichend und in der Ansprache deutlich besser. Ich spiele Jazz und gelegentlich klassische Übungen, kein Funk/Rock. Interessanter fand ich das V16 A5-S+
