I got "Warwick Corvette Standard" bass and I have to say that these are exact strings in to it. My friend suggested these strings to me because I mostly play metal and heavy music and I have pretty low-tuning (B). So these strings are very good for real metal music. I have tested these strings in E-tuning also. First I was douptful because they looked so thick but really It wasn't that bad to play at all. I still got my fingers and bass ok. I definitely recommend these strings if you own Warwick bass and want to get some super bass out of your amp!

Je m'en sert pour m'accorder en Drop B et en Drop A#, le tirant est très bien, les cordes ne sont pas hyper tendu mais pas trop molle non plus.
Petit bémol sur la quatrième corde (la corde la plus grave) qui sonne un peu trop rond par rapport aux autres cordes, qui sont un peu plus brillante.
Attention on est sur un gros tirant, il a fallu limer mon sillet de tête pour que les cordes tiennent bien !
En résumé: Très bon produit (l'un des seul du marché à propose ce tirant en 4 cordes), très bon rapport qualité/prix.

In Ermangelung eines 5-Saiters habe ich meinen alten 4-Saiter aus der Ecke geholt und abgestaubt. Denn: Die neue Band braucht eine tiefe B-Saite.

Also habe ich ein wenig bei thomann gestöbert und bin plötzlich auf diesen 4-Saitensatz gestoßen. Und mal im Ernst, wenn die Gitarren tiefer gestimmt sind, brauche ich die gleichen vier Saiten - nur eben tiefer ...

Beim Aufziehen der Saiten musste ich (natürlich) feststellen, dass die neuen Saiten nicht in den alten Sattel passen. Also die Sattelfeilen raus und langsam und vorsichtig erweitert.

Nach dem ersten Stimmen war ich überrascht, weil die tiefe B-Saite schnarrte. Alle anderen Saiten waren sofort prima bestens.
Der Fehler war schnell gefunden. Die Wicklung verjüngt sich zum Steg hin. Also war es lediglich notwendig den Saitenreiter etwas höher zu drehen und schon passte wirklich alles.

Die Saiten ließen sich - wie auch die anderen Warwick Black Labels - sofort sehr gut und ohne all zu viele Nebengeräusche spielen. Jetzt nach etwa sechs Wochen unregelmäßigen Spiels haben die Saiten immer noch ihren sehr guten Klang. Auch hält der Hals des Basses dem erhöhten Saitenzug sehr gut stand.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit diesem Satz und habe eben einen weiteren bestellt.

Spiele seit einger zeit mit den WARWICK 40240 LB4 BLACK LABEL LOW B Saiten und bin sehr zufrieden. Habe sie auf meinem B.C. Rich Beast Bass auf Drop-C tuning, also schon gut heruntergestimmt. Die saiten lassen sich aber trotzdem bestens bespielen ob mit fingern oder plektrum. Kann ich nur jedem Metal Bassisten empfehlen, der seinen Bass gut runter stimmen will, "ohne" das die Saiten labeln oder die tiefen töne im ersten bund nicht richtig klingen.

Auch gegen den Preis kann man nicht meckern da sie echt gut in der hand liegen und lange ihren halt halten. Spiele bereits ein gutes jahr mit den saiten und habe bisher keine besseren in der Preisklasse bespielt.
