I
Sounds great but needs an effects loop
IanIreland 22.10.2018
I bought this unit to save me from having to carry my marshall acoustic amp to gigs to DI out to the PA system. I use a Martin DC16GTE so set the input to dreadnought and the output to D45 and it sounds amazing through any PA systems I have connected to. The only issue I have is that I also use a loop pedal which has to be placed after the AC3 so I lose the DI out option which is a shame. I really think this unit needs an effects loop option.

The different guitar sounds are great and give a very authentic acoustic sound.

The effects are good but not really suitable for live performance as there are no presets but these could come in useful when recording. I really only use the reverb and the EQ, both of which are great. There is also a compressor which works really well. I also leave the anti feedback option on and so far have had no feedback issues.

The tuner is very accurate, I'll be selling on my Boss TU-3 as this has now become surplus to requirements.

I was originally looking for a boost pedal to give me boost for fingerpicking and solos when I came across this unit. This gives me EQ, effects, a tuner and a boost and also an authentic acoustic sound. The build quality is also great, its very well built and feels like it will last forever.

Would definitely be 5 stars if it had an effects loop!

Zoom AC3is worth every penny
Mattie 09.02.2021
As a pro performing artist i use this for doing every show now, gives me control over tone eq and adds extra punch whilst basically eliminating theacoustic guitar screaming back at me on stage. Just simply plug in and ask engineer to 0 the desk and have had so many of them asking about it due to the clarity and great tone its providing. One place actually now use these as upmarket d.i boxes for all their artists. so 5 star from me..

Great pedal built like a tank. No save preset option bit of a drawback but not a deal breaker

Dieses Zoom-Gerät behalte ich!
Matthias4464 01.01.2018
