Great bundle

Firstly this is a great value bundle. The Avantis doesn't have much local IO so if you want to connect much at the desk, you'll need an additional IO card. There's no USB audio connection (the only real downside to this desk) so Dante immediately offers lots of options for connection to playback / recording hardware and software.
On the desk itself, briefly. It's a good step up from the SQ series. The screen is a joy to work with - very clear and slick UI. Being able to configure the number of buses & matrices is very powerful - switch from a FoH desk with lots of groups to a monitor desk with loads of aux mixes to a theatre desk with load of matrix outputs. Built in effects are OK but you'll likely want the dPack which of course costs extra.
Feels very solidly built but not difficult to pick up on your own. Doesn't come with any kind of dust cover but the one that A&H produce is well made, with elastic edges to hold it in place.
