this pickup is for dirty rock-metal players. I found that after installing this one thing I need to add is a capacitor to the wiring before it reaches the volume simply as it’s far too bright for my liking. You can use the tone to control which on a Strat set up works if you have 2 tones. This is only when clean. When toned down the clean sound is quite likable. Not your classic Clapton Strat neck pickup with that creaminess but it has a slight twang to it and sounds good with funk and rhcp I’ve found. But the moment you add dirt, distortion, overdrive anything at all it comes into its element. The tone can be increased a bit (I found not at full much nicer than full tone) and then wow. A beautiful pickup to play the blues. Ripping away SRV licks and Hendrix licks. Sound’s beautiful. Really really good. And with more gain it handles it really well and great for lead solos in rock-metal genres. Really really good. Would totally recommend for the rockers out there.

ich verwende den Single Coil in der Halsposition einer LTD MV-200 (Powerstrat mit Mahaghoni Body, Ahorn Hals, tuneomatic Brücke und 24,75" Mensur). Am Steg sitzt ein Suhr Aldrige Bridge. Vom Output kann er nicht ganz mithalten, aber ich verwende den Bare Knuckle ohnehin eher für Clean Sounds oder leichten Overdrive, hier ein bisschen weniger Dampf zu haben als mit dem Steg Pickup hat durchaus seine Vorzüge. Der Pickup klingt wie ein Singecoil klingen soll, offen, relativ neutral und vor allem differenziert. Ich habe mich bewusst gegen einen High Output Singlecoil entschieden um in dieser Gitarre einfach flexibler zu sein und der Plan ging auf. Der Alnico 5 ist hier definitiv die beste Wahl, wenn man etwas zwischen Vintage (manchmal zu schwach auf der Brust) und Modern (manchmal zu viel Kompression/zu wenig Höhen) sucht.

Zur Verarbeitung gibt es nur positives zu sagen - alles perfekt und super verpackt - inkl. einem Bare Knuckle Pick in der Verpackung. Die cloth wire Isolierung ist auch dankbar zu verarbeiten.

Ich würde den Pickup jederzeit wieder kaufen - absolute Preis-Leistungs Empfehlung

ça vaut franchement les Fender ou Seymour, après tout est une question de gout ;) à reprendre sans hésiter.
