Great value for money as always from Behringer
M-Theory Mike 12.11.2020
Use:
I use mine for vocal recording in a semi-pro studio. Speech and singing.

Pros:
Very decent price
Sturdy, solid construction
Switchable pickup modes (omnidirectional, cardioid and figure eight)
Low cut and gain reduction switches
Stand adapter and box included, which is nice
Sound quality is rich and noise free

Cons:
You need to get really close to the mic and/ or ramp the gain up on the mixer/preamp to get a decent signal. No big deal to me, but might be problematic for some
Its non-uniform shape means it doesn't fit nicely into a standard mic harness which cylindrical mics would fit into - but it comes with a stand adapter so again, not really the end of the world.

I would definitely recommend this mic to potential buyers, and have done so many times since purchasing mine a few months ago.

Reasonable budget microphone
MattA82 09.09.2020
Definitely worse microphones out there for the money. Used this as an overhead for recording drums and it is more than up to the task.
Can see this being useful for tracking vocals and acoustic guitars too.

TI
Good microphone for beginners
Tani Ilves 21.05.2022
I bought this microphone for recording audio comments to videos along with a Steinberg UR22C audio card.
There is a little lack of gain if you write the sound not close to the microphone, but with a lot of gain, a lot of noise appears. Maybe it's because of a bad cable, but I'm not sure.
The packaging and workmanship are sufficient to get you started.
I don't use the extra features much (which is why I probably should have bought the C-1), but if you need them, this mic is good.

Advantages:
- Workmanship
- Kit
- Additional functions
- Looks good
- Low price

Disadvantages:
- I hear a lot of noise on my audio card and with my cable at high gain. At low gain it sounds too quiet.

Applicability (in my opinion):
Suitable for beginners and as a backup if the main microphone suddenly breaks.

Very reasonably priced and decent compromise switchable polar pattern microphone. Midrange noise level, but this is basically a close-miking unit. Objectionable directivity pattern, background lobe exists in cardioid mode .

A
Great mic for the money
Anonymous 12.05.2016
Having bought this mic a few years back it always serves well in my home studio environment.
Features wise it is great and competes with mics 2x the price with a low cut, pad and 3 selectable pickup patterns.
For sound i have used it for both voice and on drum overheads. the overall clarity is good but it does have a 'compressed' sound to it. this hasn't affected usage and tends to hide unwanted room sounds so can be seen as a positive or negative.

AS
Love this mic
Al Santos 07.03.2019
I was not expecting much, being a cheap mic, but I have got to concede that I am pretty impressed with how quiet it is, and how my voice sounds through it.
Love that It lets us use it as cardioid, figure of 8 and omni.
At this price level? I am going to keep it for a long time.
