Compressor is ok… As a sound engineer.
Octave is just not what it says. +1 is actually +2 and +2 is +3. I needed the +1 that just doesn’t exist. Plus it’s really dissonant and weird.

Ok compressor unusable octaver

I have bought it as a base layer of my bass tone. The compressor side is okay, if a little noisy to my ears.
The octaver though is only usable when dialled way down as a very subtle sub-octave. Even then I felt like it was just muddying my tone instead of giving it more substance. As for using the octaver when playing in upper registers, it’s not usable for me at all as it’s not tracking well enough.

In the end I’m using only the compressor side.

Das Gehäuse sieht klasse aus und die Schalter Arbeiten erstaunlich leise. In erster Linie hat mich der optischen Kompressor interessiert. Und der tut auch das was er machen soll, er arbeitet sehr dezent. Ist bei mir quasi "always on". Den Oktaver benutze ich ausschließlich zum anfetten des Sounds. Das funktioniert auch ganz gut. Man kann aber richtig, richtig und ich meine richtig verrückte Sachen damit machen. Dadurch dass man eine und noch eine zweite Oktave oben drauf legen kann bekommt man orgelartige Sounds hin. Klingt aber teilweise super schräg.

Ich betreibe das Pedal mit Netzgerät. An der ein oder anderen Steckdose hatte ich ein leichtes pfeifen. Kann aber nicht ausschließen dass das einfach an der Steckdose liegt. Und ein zwei Mal bin ich beim Schalten an den kleine Kippschalter gekommen. Nichts wildes aber da muss man drauf achten. Habe jetzt so eine Kappe auf den Fußtaster gemacht.
