Way Better than I Thought!

I bought 4 of these as there was a gap in my needs for small stage wedges for theatre / small gig shows.

Since Ive bought them used them on jobs i didn't think would be feasible, they pack ALOT of punch for their size.
I even used them on mic stands as satellite fills down a room for a corporate event, as the room was overcrowded, worked a treat!

Some downsides,
no handle, but super lightweight so no real problem there.
Biggest problem ive found is that there is no mic/line level switch, which would be very nice. The jack input is line level, and the mic input mic level,
I got around this by purchasing xlr to mono jack adapters and it works fine.

Overall, very happy with this product, but remember, it has to suit your needs,
Its not going to blow you away with big bass like bigger more powerful speakers, if thats what you need, thats what you need.
If you are looking for tiny, discreet, nice looking wedges for speech or even enough punch for small concerts of a certain genre.
these would work for you.

Small but packs a punch

I used this for the first time this week in our three piece folk band. I was worried that the volume and the clarity would not be good, but I was wrong on both. Plenty of volume (at about 6/10 on the momitor and 4/10 on the mixer Aux output) and the instruments were clear and accurate-sounding. I know a monitor is good when the foldback in my right ear sounds the same as the fiddle just under my left ear!

Ideal für Singer Songwriter, die im Sitzen spielen

Ich habe die Flat-M100 jetzt einmal beim Livegig verwendet. Die flache Form ist ideal für Singer Songwriter, die im Sitzen spielen. Man hört sie sehr gut. Dabei ist die Box extrem unauffällig. Anfangs hatte ich etwas Probleme weil es zerrte. Ich hatte die Box an einen Main Out unseres Behringer XR18 gehängt, da wir für unsere Säulen PA nur einen Ausgang benötigen. Das Signal war aber offensichtlich zwar für die Säulen PA ok aber für den Monitor zu heiß. Wir haben dann auf die schnelle einen Monitormix gemacht und auf einen Aux gelegt. Das ging dann. Man sollte sich aber dafür etwas mehr Zeit nehmen als wir hatten.

Man könnte die Box scheinbar auch am Mikrostativ befestigen, Die Box ist aber relativ schwer und ich würde das eher nicht tun. Dafür gibt es ja dann andere wie the box MA5. Mir gefällt es auch nicht wenn ich so einen Klotz am Stativ habe. Durch die ideale Form braucht man das m.e. auch nicht.

Fazit:
Sehr klein und handlich. Ideal wenn man im Sitzen spielt und wenig Platz hat.
Nett wäre wenn man die Eingangsimpedanz regeln könnte. Batteriebetrieb wäre auch cool.
Alles im Allem tolle Kiste mit gutem Klang.

Für kleine Bühnen, begrenzte Platzverhältnisse und volle Busse brauchte ich eine kompakte Monitor-Lösung. Nach einiger Internetrecherche fand ich schliesslich die Flat-M100, die scheinbar alles kann, was ich suchte. Ich bestellte 2 Stück, um zu testen und wurde nicht enttäuscht:

Die Flat-M100 wirkt fast wie ein Spielzeug, weil sie so unglaublich klein ist. Für das Publikum ist sie fast unsichtbar und doch bringt sie so viel Druck, dass man sich erstmal daran gewöhnen muss.

Die Box ist optimal für Anwendungen, wo es keine extremen Monitorpegel benötigt. Für Chor, klassische Konzerte aber auch Popformationen ohne übertrieben laute Backline machen die Monitore eine gute Figur.

Die Musiker*innen, die bisher mit der Flat-M100 gearbeitet haben, waren sehr zufrieden damit.

Beim Transport kommt ein nicht unwesentlicher Vorteil der Box wortwörtlich zum Tragen: Sechs Stück brauchen den Platz von bisher einem 10" Aktivmonitor und haben einen Bruchteil des Gewichts. Das spart Ressourcen (Platz, Gewicht und Zeit).

Für alle Monitoranwendungen, wo Basstauglichkeit und Maximalschalldruck keine wichtigen Eigenschaften sind, lohnt es sich, die Flat-M100 anzuhören!
