A little disappointing

I bought this microphone arm in order to reduce visual clutter, as this supports the weight of the microphones from the bottom rather than the top. It was bundled together with Røde's Podmic, but those mics are far too heavy for these arms despite the arms being rated for even heavier load. I have to REALLY tighten the bolts to avoid it sagging down. Avoid this if you plan on using heavy mics.

It’s well built, it’s nice that there’s space for cable management, and it attaches securely to the desk. A big plus is that one section can be raised upward — that’s really convenient.
As for the downsides, I don’t like the locking arm with the large tightening knob. First, it’s not very comfortable to use, and second, it hits another part and prevents proper rotation. There’s also a slight play — some free movement remains, meaning it doesn’t lock completely even when tightened. Overall, it’s still a pretty good option.

This is an annoyingly high quality product , unfortunately let down by what everyones been complaining about, that middle joint lacks an appropriate amount of grip to stop the neck from sagging, I foolishly bought this thinking I knew better, unfortunately you will need to dismantle this part and make some modifications to bring it up to spec.
(You will void you warranty doing so).

Eigentlich ein guter Arm, aber

Erst mal war ich von der Verarbeitung des Armes positiv überrascht. Er ist schwer, robust und alles von der Klemme bis zur Kabelführung wirkt hochwertig. Leider ist aber das Kugelgelenk, an dem die Spinne befestigt wird, unglaublich instabil. Selbst ein leichtes Mikrofon in der Spinne sorgt für ein ständiges Absinken des Gelenks und macht den Arm nur schwer nutzbar. Das ist äußerst schade, da der Arm ansonsten top ist. Sehr sehr schade.
