The tradition lives on

The Shure Beta 58 A has followed in the footsteps of its venerated predecessor, the SM58. Much like its older sibling, the Beta 58 A is an extremely dependable and high quality dynamic microphone which immediately became an industry standard amongst stage and studio music professionals alike. Its clean, transparent sound, solid build, and near indestructible shockmount have won over countless musicians worldwide. This bundle contains three microphones with their respective German-made König & Meyer stands as well as three 10m cables.

A microphone designed for performance

The Beta 58 A provides a high level of intelligibility and transparency on all types of vocals, thanks to a wider spectrum response (notably in the high frequencies when compared to the illustrious SM58) and more focused supercardioid polarity. The neodymium magnet provides an output boost, notably in the mid-range and the dynamic capsule naturally attenuates the lower frequencies, both of which confer yet more presence to both lead and backing vocals, while providing a clean and powerful signal. The Beta 58 A is also known for remaining largely immune to tough performance conditions and disturbances: The shock mount prevents handling noises and the wire mesh grid protects from wind and plosive noises, all while keeping the capsule safe.

A brilliant sound for everyone

The Shure Beta 58 A is at home in every musical style, from Classical to Hip-Hop and from Country to Metal. Countless professionals and discerning amateurs alike have come to rely on this affordable microphone to bring the best out of their voices - whether during a small and private vocal performance or a concert at Wembley! The frequency response of the Beta 58 A is naturally suited to the human voice and requires hardly any tweaking at the mixing desk to perform. These three Beta 58 As, along with stands and cables, are ready for the stage: This bundle contains everything you need to mike the vocals of your bassist and guitarist, and it also works very well on choirs.

About Shure

The American company Shure began developing microphones during the early 1930s and is one of the pioneers of the audio engineering sector. Models such as the 55 Unidyne - known to many as the "Elvis microphone" - and the SM57 and SM58 which appeared in the mid-1960s are still ubiquitous in live sound production today. They enjoy cult status among musicians and technicians alike. In the 1990s, Shure introduced the first wireless microphones and in-ear monitoring systems and became a market leader in this field. In addition to microphones, Shure offers a wide range of earphones and headphones for studio and live use, as well as various accessories.

Stage-ready and indestructible

The Shure Beta 58 A is ready for anything - even if the going gets rough. The rugged and scratch-resistant body, steel mesh grid and enamel coating protect it effectively from the mishaps of stage life and ensure its longevity - while the pneumatic shock mount insulates from unwanted vibrations and mechanical noises. The included K&M mic stands are among the sturdiest on the market in this format – and are famous for their functionality, regardless of stage conditions. The cables are of generous length and will suit many different applications.

Der neue Standard auf der Bühne!
Andraeides 09.10.2009

SHURE BETA 58 A - ein sehr solides Mikrofon
Philipp PHIS 10.10.2009

Tipp:
